Mia Garcia is a sophomore and Foote Fellow Honors student at the University of Miami, majoring in Political Science and International Studies with a minor in Philosophy. With years of experience as a tutor, camp counselor, and dance coach, she’s passionate about working with children and eager to help them grow as students. Mia is originally from Chicago and a graduate of the IB Program. Mia is active in campus life through pre-law and service organizations. After finishing her undergraduate education she hopes to attend law school and then pursue a career in family law to combine her love for education, advocacy, and youth empowerment.
