Karan holds a BS in Exercise Physiology with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Miami, and is currently completing his MD/MBA at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Class of 2027. With a background in tutoring dating back to his time with Kumon, Karan has a passion for breaking down complex topics and making them accessible to every student. He specializes in STEM subjects across all levels, as well as standardized test prep, including the SAT, ACT, and MCAT. In addition to his tutoring work, Karan served as a Clinical Skills Coordinator at the Medical School, where he helped medical students master foundational clinical skills such as heart sounds and physical exam techniques. Originally from Daytona Beach, Karan now calls downtown Miami home, and when he's not studying or teaching, you can find him playing beach volleyball, biking, or staying active outdoors.
