Isabella is a junior at the University of Miami majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Biochemistry and General Music on the pre-med track. As a UM Foote Fellow with a 4.0 GPA, she has learned a variety of effective study strategies that she credits for her academic success. Preparing to take her Medical College Admissions Test, she has a deep understanding of and passion for the sciences that she hopes to share and instill in other students. Her work in anxiety research, being on the executive board for the American Medical Student Association and the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and her volunteer work with Conversation to Remember, has given her a passion for mentorship and supporting others through education and moral support. Additionally, her experiences as a high school tutor, swim instructor, and babysitter has helped her build strong skills working with kids of all ages. When Isabella is not in Miami, she is back home relaxing, hiking, or reading in Pearl River, New York.
