No. We brainstorm with you, help you find the story worth telling, and edit until it's strong. The words stay yours. That's an ethics requirement and it's also why the essays work.

Do I have to be an Ibis Prep test prep student?

No. Counseling is completely separate. Plenty of clients come to us with a score they earned somewhere else.

What if my score is below the median at the schools I want?

Then the application has to work harder, and we'll tell you honestly what your range looks like. We won't call a school realistic when it isn't.

What if I'm not sure which package I need?
