At IbisPrep, our team consists of members who are wise, dynamic and reliable.
Andrew holds a BA from Tulane University and a JD / MBA from the University of Miami. He has scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT, ACT, LSAT, and GMAT. He passed the Florida Bar, SIE, and Series 7 top-off in his first attempts. He is the founder of Ibis Prep and also has a financial planning practice. He enjoys spending time with his family, football, and surfing.
Courtney is currently pursuing majors in International Business Management and Business Law at the University of Miami. Courtney has a passion for education, she first began tutoring in high school and continued throughout college. She enjoys designing lesson plans for her students and watching their confidence and critical thinking skills develop.
Courtney is a mathematics whiz and has assisted students in computational problems ranging in complexity from simple algebra to advanced trigonometric equations. She also tutors other subjects as well as the SAT, ACT, LSAT, GMAT, and many other standardized tests.
Travis Tarpeh graduated cum laude from Florida State University, with a BA in Political Philosophy, and a minor in Law and Society in 2015.
While at Emory, he externed with the US Environmental Protection Agency, and shortly after, he enrolled in the MBA program at Emory’s Goizueta School of Business, having scored 84th percentile on the GMAT (90th percentile vernal).
Upon graduating from Emory in 2018, he enrolled in the White & Case International Arbitration Institute at the University of Miami Law School, currently ranked top ten in the world.
Jason Billups possesses over 22 years of experience in Financial Planning and working with clients to provide comprehensive guidance and advice. Jason is a graduate of The University of Central Florida with a BSBA in Marketing, as well as a graduate of the University of Miami where he graduated with an MBA in International Business and Finance. Jason currently resides in Miami and is currently working with clients in the Miami
BiBi Ghafari has been actively teaching test prep for over 6 years. With a background in biochemistry, she is able to teach all courses that fall under that subject as well as physics, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, mathematics (up to calculus 3), introductory courses in psychology and sociology as formatted for the new MCAT exam.
Brian is originally from Edison, New Jersey, and although he loves New York views himself as a proud New Jerseyan at heart.
Brian has been tutoring for three years and is passionate about everything education-related. He has extensive experience tutoring students for the LSAT and guiding them through the law school admissions process. He loves working with students to crack a tough LSAT question, talking strategy during a complex scholarship negotiation, or going over a tough law school class topic. Brian is passionate about being a life coach for his students and works with them to remove every obstacle in the way of their success whether it be motivation-related, test anxiety (which he himself struggled with), or time management.
In his spare time, you can find Brian on the tennis court, reading history books, attempting to learn how to juggle 5 balls (right now he can only do 3 or 4), playing chess, and hiking.
