Sonia Marques

Sonia Marques is currently working at a Title 1 middle school as part of their leadership

team, handling school discipline and assisting with special education. She is currently

certified in Educational Leadership Grades K-12, Exceptional Student Education Grades

K-12, English for Speakers of Other Languages Grades K-12 and Middle Grades

Mathematics Grades 5-9. She has many years of teaching experience, mostly in math,

ranging from 6 th through 9 th grade. She graduated with a Master’s of Education in

Educational Leadership from American College of Education and Bachelor’s of Science

in Criminal Justice & Hospitality Management from Florida International University. She

is from Portugal, and is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish.
